At the Learning & Leadership Center, programs such as the Read for Rose Special Education Program serve 35 children with disabilities, while the College Scholarship Fund empowers 62 young men and women to advance their education.

Every gift—whether one-time or monthly—helps sustain our programs and bring hope to even more communities.

What’s new in 2024?

Team Growth: Our work is only possible thanks to our passionate and dedicated team, including 18 full-time employees in the U.S. and Zambia. Partnerships with Gold Youth and the Mastercard Foundation support 6 interns who manage 129 peer educators and 23 associate teachers and counselors at the Center, enriching our programs every day.

Kafue's New Learning & Leadership Center: We began construction on our new Learning & Leadership Center.

It has a 600+ person capacity, featuring innovative spaces such as a STEAM lab, Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy Hub, and accessible special education areas. Additional facilities include a Health & Wellness Hub, libraries (digital and traditional), computer lab, art classroom, community hall, and kitchen/dining room.

The Moyo Center in Kigali: We partnered with special education visionaries to launch The Moyo Center to expand inclusive education across Sub-Saharan Africa.

This year, the Demonstration Phase is being launched and includes creating model classrooms in two schools, developing custom curriculum, and piloting teacher trainings.

Let’s carry the legacy of Dreaming, Believing, and Achieving into the next 20 years together.
