Program Highlights: Education
We believe education is the foundation for lifelong impact. Every child deserves a safe space to learn, lead, and dream—supported not just by teachers and textbooks, but by holistic systems that nurture their full potential.
We collaborate with communities to co-design bold, scalable solutions that respond directly to local challenges and build lasting systems change.
Whether scaling our full Learning & Leadership Center model or adapting modular program components, our approach ensures more young people can access the tools they need to thrive—and drive change in their communities.

Empowering Girls
by Empowering Boys
Gender equity is at the heart of our work.
We believe empowering girls also means engaging boys as allies, leaders, and changemakers.
Our programs foster:
Gender equity and inclusive leadership.
Prevention of early marriage and gender-based violence.
Discussions on consent, respect, and partnership.
Self-esteem, leadership, and dreams—for all.
Together, girls and boys are shaping a more just, empowered future.

Spotlight: School infrastructure development.
Chilanga, Zambia.
Safe, well-equipped schools are critical for success.
That’s why AEP invests in school infrastructure to create healthier, more dignified learning environments.
At Mt. Makulu Primary School, in partnership with the Elsa Miller Foundation (EMF), we delivered:
A 9-stall accessible ablution block, powered by a solar borehole and water system.
170 desks, 24 teacher chairs, and 8 teacher tables to address overcrowding.
The improvements were celebrated by Zambia’s Permanent Secretary for Educational Services and the school community, setting a new standard for learning environments.
Give the gift of education.
Every safe learning space. Every confident student. Every bold leader.
That’s the power of community-led education.
